LEGAL / REFUNDS & CANCELLATION
Refund & Cancellation Policy
This page provides a general framework for refunds, cancellations and project pauses for digital services. The signed project agreement should always take priority.
1. Project deposits and payments
Any deposit, milestone payment or recurring fee will be governed by the applicable proposal or contract. Work may begin only after the agreed payment conditions are met.
2. Client cancellation
If a client cancels a project after work has started, fees for completed work, approved expenses, committed third-party costs and non-refundable services may remain payable. The exact treatment should be stated in the project agreement.
3. Refunds
Because digital services involve time, strategy and work performed specifically for a client, refunds are not automatically available for completed or substantially completed work. Any eligible refund will follow the written project agreement and applicable consumer laws.
4. Pausing a project
Projects may be paused where agreed. Long pauses can affect availability, delivery dates, pricing or third-party costs, and those consequences should be confirmed in writing.
5. Third-party purchases
Domain names, hosting, premium themes, plugins, fonts, stock assets, software subscriptions and other third-party purchases may have their own refund rules and may not be refundable by Bluepeak.
